THE DELHI URBAN ART COMMISSION ACT, 1973

An Act to provide for the establishment of the Delhi Urban Art Commission with a view to preserving developing and maintaining the aesthetic quality of urban and environmental design within Delhi.
[1st January, 1974.]

BE it enacted by Parliament in the Twenty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows :

CHAPTER - I

PRELIMINARY SECTIONS

  1. Short title, extent and commencement.
  2. Definitions.
CHAPTER - II

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COMMISSION

  1. Establishment of the Commission.
  2. Composition of the Commission.
  3. Terms and conditions of service of members.
  4. Meetings of the Commission.
  5. Vacancies amongst members or defect in Constitution not to invalidate acts or proceedings of the Commission.
  6. Temporary association of persons with the Commission for particular purposes.
  7. Appointment of staff of the Commission.
