How To Submit Proposal

  • The proposal are required to sent in the prescribed proformae which can be downloaded from the DUAC website (www.duac.org) or collected from the DUAC office.
  • The model and other documents which accompany a proposal are annexure..
  • The proformae (hyperlink) and drawings are received through concerned local body.
  • The projects proponent is required to directly deposit the model etc. of the project to the Commission.
  • The Commission insists that the drawings and the model relating to a proposal should be consistent.
  • Once a project has been included in the agenda of the Commission's meeting the concerned architect may be informed to be present in the Commission as per prior intimation for interaction when his case is being considered.
  • The recommendations of the Commission together with approved drawings based on the Commission’s observations, if any, are sent back to the local body.
  • The decisions on the proposal based on recommendations of the Commission are conveyed through concerned local body.
  • The promoter/proponents is expected to obtain clearance of Chief Fire Officer before the proposal could be considered.

Conceptual consideration

  • The architect/promoter can bring proposals directly to the Commission at conceptual stage itself.
  • The purpose of considering projects at conceptual stage is to help the professional to understand the requirements of the Commission so that the changes/modifications are minimal when the project is finally received through the local body.

  • The entire set of documents etc. indicated above are referred through the concerned local body.
